What Futures? Why Futures?
Session 1
Why should we be interested in the Futures? As educators of future leaders, who will be operating in a world with evidently much uncertainty, we face an increasingly important task of equipping our students with skills to navigate the turbulences of uncertain futures.
This session will introduce us to futures, futures thinking, and conceptualizations of futures thinking competencies. The aim of this part is to introduce some basic notions of futures and their relevance for business graduates, and explore the different temporalities of futures thinking.
